The SAP Academic Community Conference DACH 2026 is organised by the SAP Competence Center of HES-SO Valais-Wallis, OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule, the SAP Academic Board DACH and SAP University Alliances.
The conference brings together experts from business, research and education to explore human-driven and responsible artificial intelligence in business and IT. It provides a platform for research presentations, practical contributions and networking between universities and companies.

OST.CH and Riscomp applied project
As part of the conference programme, Riscomp and OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule will present the results of our joint study: a hybrid framework for monetary cyber-risk quantification in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Challenge addressed: Cyber risks are often assessed using technical scores, qualitative categories and probability-based models. While these methods support detailed analysis, they do not always make the financial impact of a risk clear to business decision-makers.
Practical relevance: Riscomp is developing a solution that links risk, compliance and strategy with measurable assets across an organisation and creates an AI-ready foundation for the SAP Autonomous Enterprise. The Asset Risk Linkage Model (ARLM) represents a further development of Riscomp’s approach to IT risk.
At the centre of the risk assessment are Information Assets — data that are critical to value-creating business processes. These assets are embedded in other ERM components, including risks, measures and related elements.
Results at a glance: ARLM is an asset-centric hybrid framework that combines selected elements of BSI IT-Grundschutz, the OWASP Risk Rating Methodology and FAIR with newly developed methodological components. It links Information Assets, business processes, IT systems, cyber risks and mitigation measures to support transparent and reproducible risk assessments in SAP and ERP environments.
The model enables organisations to express both inherent and residual cyber risk in monetary terms, including measurable risk values in CHF.
